Featuring a jazz sextet, Hungarian folk trio, and a vocal octet, this concert builds upon the field research of composers such as Bartók and Kodály, melding disparate musical worlds and confounding stylistic expectations.
Asaran Earth Trio will be teaching a “Songs and rhythms around the world” workshop, and I’ll be teaching a “Don’t let your psyche stop you from being the best singer you can be” workshop. :)
