Between 2014-2020 (right until Covid hit) I’ve worked as a teaching artist for two wonderful organisations in NYC: 92Y and the Metropolitan Opera Guild. There I had the immense luck to have a job where all I had to do was sing, play instruments, write operas, dance, and basically have the most imaginable fun with kids, mostly 3rd graders. This experience forever changed me, and still continues to inspire me these days, when I’m working on creating music education curricula or scripts for interactive musical programs.
